NTN 23240EMD1 spherical roller bearing consist of an outer ring having a continuous spherical raceway and two rows of barrel-shaped rollers guided by an inner ring with two raceways. 23240EMD1 has self-aligning properties, and therefore is suited for use where misalignment between the inner and outer rings occurs from housing installation error or shaft bending.
NTN 23240EMD1 bearings have outer ring oil inlets and oil grooves. The allowable speed specified in the bearing dimension table is the limit for heat dissipation and satisfactory lubrication conditions before 23240EMD1 bearing is adversely affected.
